Goodbye, and Hello Again

Last month I announced the departure of Ranger Jason Stapert.

This month we welcome him back!

As it turns out, his employment expectations with the National Park Service ran into snags that became aggravations, then dead-ends. He chose to come back home rather than endure further frustrations . We had not yet terminated him from his position here, and now welcome him back with happy smiles and open arms.

That leaves just two permanent positions currently unfilled at the park. We hope to fill one of those this coming week.
