All wood fires are now banned in the park. Starting last week, the Department of Natural Resources raised the fire danger level to high. With no significant rainfall since mid-May, our soils are dry and the plants all around us are thirsty wicks. Any wind-blown spark has the potential to turn our park into ashes.
