SR 20 Quiet Cove safety project wraps up on time and budget near Anacortes

Just north of Deception Pass, crews have widened SR 20, built a new bridge, reduced hills and curves that limited sight distance, and improved safety at intersections between Pass Lake and Sharpes Corner. Clinton ferry dock to Bob Galbreath paving

We will resurface the highway to extend the life of the roadway from the Clinton Ferry Terminal to the intersection of Bob Galbreath Road. We will also improve sections of sidewalk to make them more accessible to people with disabilities. Crews will return in August to repave sections of roadway and restripe. This work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if it rains. Full story

Ribbon-cutting ceremony marks completion of SR 20 improvement project in Burlington

With the ceremonial unveiling of a new highway sign Thursday morning, business leaders, local officials and legislators officially marked the completion of the “missing link” in State Route 20 widening between Anacortes and Burlington.
